Interview-Tipps für Newcomer*innen von der 1LIVE Heimatkult-Frau

Session

April 25, 15:45–16:45

Herbrand's Bahnhaus

Simone Sohn is a freelance music journalist and has already interviewed a number of national and international stars in front of and behind the camera and for the radio. Since 2011, she has been in charge of Heimatkult at 1LIVE, where she presents local bands and newcomer acts on a weekly basis. With her experience, she can give many useful tips on what musicians should look out for in their first interviews and which rookie mistakes are best avoided. Simone has always had a love of music and after her studies she got an internship at the cult station VIVA2 and even then had the chance to interview well-known artists. After a traineeship at VIVA, she worked for a year at the music station Onyx and then went freelance, meeting bands for WDR Rockpalast, among others. She now mainly works in radio and looks after local up-and-coming talent and the most promising bands from the "sector" at 1LIVE.

This session is part of NEW TALENT. NEW TALENT takes place in cooperation with popNRW, VUT West and the c/o pop Convention.
