Kara Delik are three friends brought together by their quest to find common ground amidst their varied backgrounds – resulting in driving yet complex rhythms, gritty basslines and hints of Turkish folk music.

Taking inspiration from Anatolian rock music of the 70’s, German Kraut and Punk of the 80’s and their diverse experiences in Berlin’s lively off-culture, everyone takes the cake for the voice in the band, blending everything from washed out vocals, spoken word to elements of Nagme, makes Kara Delik more than the mere sum of its parts.

Das Konzert findet im Rahmen des Showcases von İÇ İÇE statt. İÇ İÇE, was im Türkischen so viel heißt wie „ineinander verschränkt“ oder „miteinander verwoben“, ist das erste und einzige divers aufgestellte Festival für neue anatolische Musik in Deutschland und bringt ihr Konzept im Rahmen der Kooperation mit dem c/o Pop Festival zum ersten Mal am 26. April nach Köln, in das Büze Ehrenfeld!
