Up next: Maikel. From the small town of Murnau straight to 030, the 22-year-old is the first signing to Futura, the label of the two hit machines Miksu / Macloud. With his progressive sound and vision, the artist represents a new rap wave from Germany.

Also because the newcomer has a rather untypical biography: born in Munich in 2001, Maikel grew up in the Bavarian provinces. At 15, he discovered Lil Uzi Vert and Juice WRLD, XXXtentacion and Lil Peep, Travis Scott and A$AP Rocky. At the same time, German acts such as Yung Hurn and Swag Mob appeared for the first time, showing him that this type of music could also be successful in this country.

With a goal in mind and the right vision, he moves from Bavaria to Berlin to chase his dream. Without an apartment, he crashes on the couch at home and spends his nights in the capital's studios. All so that he can continue to make music and be heard.
