Drag Syndrome Show

Performance

April 25,
20:45–21:45

BüZe Grosser Saal

Drag Syndrome is the world's first and only collective of drag queens and kings with Down syndrome. Since its foundation in London in 2018, the group has inspired millions of people from Canada to Mexico, from Finland to Spain. In Norway, emotional fans even overran the stage at the end of the show. Drag Syndrome are known for their infectious, joyful and innovative interpretation of drag and performance art. Each Drag Syndrome artist has developed their own distinctive style. With androgynous "genderfuck" styling and DIY outfits, this style is inspired by avant-garde performance art rather than Broadway revues. At the same time, drag is always political as a rebellion against society.
