Cultural studies, gender studies & biology - Runa Hoffmann's current interdisciplinary research focuses on natural science collections and the critical reappraisal of their colonial contexts. Her identity as a Jewish woman also plays an important role in her work and repeatedly intertwines with one of her other main topics: Sexism. She is a biologist, diversity trainer, speaker, and also has years of experience in the cultural sector: As a former director and HR manager of Berlin clubs, she implemented targeted measures to diversify & sensitize the workforce. Responsible crisis management & advising and accompanying companies and individuals facing discrimination allegations are Runa's focus.
