Julia Mädrich works as a freelance cultural manager, curator, and diversity trainer with a focus on discrimination-sensitive production and curation of pop culture events. Julia is the founder and chair of the Diversity Culture Cologne association and a board member of musicNRWwomen*. As a diversity trainer, she advises cultural institutions such as the Live Music Hall and the Cologne Film Festival and conducts research on topics such as accessibility for neurodivergent people and power relations in the music industry. Julia regularly works in project management, booking, and production for PopBoard NRW as well as various music festivals, events, and ensembles. She is also the artistic co-director of the Sommerblut Kulturfestival Köln.
