Bisseh Akamé is the Senior Director of Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging at Universal Music Germany. She has been with the company for nearly 28 years and has been active in the music business for almost 30 years – in different labels, genres, and roles, from hip-hop to classical. By November 2023, she was the Senior Director of Promotion & Label Communications at the renowned classical music label "Deutsche Grammophon". Her work stands for clear stance, value-oriented dialogue, and the conviction that sustainable change arises where different perspectives are seen, heard, and valued.
