Bulgarian Cartrader is the moniker of Sofia-born singer and producer Daniel Stoyanov. Before starting his solo project and after his time with his band Malky, the Angel enthusiast worked as a salsa dancer, background singer and songwriter, writing with and for acts like Solomun or rapper Casper and Berliners SEEED. Driven by his passion for sounds, melodies and old cars, a phone in his pocket that hasn't rung in three years and the vision to fly the Bulgarian flag at every major festival around the world, he wrote, played and produced an album completely alone in his studio in Berlin. Now he can't wait to sweat his ass off live in his sheepskin coat, given to him by his great uncle Van as a magical good luck charm.And at the latest after his now legendary show at the SCHOOL NIGHT showcase in LA, hosted by cult KCRW DJ, A&R and Grammy winning music supervisor Chris Douridas, he started to make a splash abroad as well. So with a few loose aces under his belt, the Bulgarian cartrader has already gained major attention in quite a few indie bubbles around the world. One of the most exciting topics of the year!
