AAIS AND THE CREATIVE BUSINESS CONVENTION COLLABORATE
- The <strong>Interprofessional Studio</strong> of the legendary <papaya:link href="http://aais.aaschool.ac.uk/" target="_blank" text="Architectural Association - School of Architecture (AA)" altmode="auto" /> and <strong>c/o</strong> <strong>pop</strong> are to collaborate as part of the new c/o pop Convention. As part of this multifaceted cooperation, content will be exchanged and common formats developed for cross-sector dialogue.<br /><br />In 2010 a series of events will take place. This is intended to be a long-term and multi-level project with multiple perspectives. The aim is to establish a framework that permits cross-cultural dialogue and cooperation between the UK and Germany in particular. With the start up <strong><papaya:link href="www.musictechnologyltd.com " target="_blank" text="Music Technology LTD" altmode="auto" /></strong> as a business partner, the <strong>AAIS</strong> as the academic impulse giver and <strong>c/o pop</strong> as the event organizer, the project will be carried out in various places. Starting in London it will peak at the c/o pop Convention and subsequently be reflected upon again in the UK.<br />High-profile figures from the creative industries will be invited to take part in interactive exchange in London. These inspiring encounters will be part of the 'Salons' of the AAIS in Covent Garden. <br /><br />The London Architectural Association is one of the world’s most renowned schools of architecture. The Interprofessional Studio of the AA, led by <strong>Theo</strong> <strong>Lorenz</strong> and <strong>Dr. Tanja Siems</strong> (<papaya:link text="www.t-2.org" target="_blank" href="www.t-2.org" />), works in the area in between performance, fashion and arts. It is directed at postgraduates who work on applied projects with interdisciplinary contents and contexts.<br /><strong>Music Technology LTD</strong> is an innovative start-up founded by the <strong>Boilerhouse Boys</strong>, <strong>Ben Wolff</strong> and <strong>Andy Dean</strong> (artist, producer and Grammy-winner as well as discoverer of Joss Stone, Bush and Lily Allen), that offers a unique model of content organization, distribution and presentation by using diverse new award winning technologies (over 130 patents pending).<br /><br /><papaya:link href=" http://aais.aaschool.ac.uk/" target="_blank" text=" http://aais.aaschool.ac.uk/" altmode="auto" /><strong><strong><papaya:link href="www.musictechnologyltd.com " target="_blank" text="Music Technology LTD" altmode="auto" />
